CTM.08 – Unpredictable Encounters – Exhibition
// Opening: January 23, 2008, 19 h // Date: January 24 – February 2, 2008 // Opening times: daily 12 – 19 h // Venue: General Public, Schönhauser Allee 167c, Berlin   Preceding CTM.08, the Polish and German artists Graw Boeckler (Raum Fuer Projektion, DE), Robert Piotrowicz and Anna Zaradny (PL), Niklas Roy (DE), Wojtek Kucharczyk (PL), Rodrigo Derteano (DE/PE), and Wojtek Kosma (PL) will continue their collaboration projects begun during the 2007 edition of Krakow's Unsound festival. The results will be shown in the exhibition "Unpredictable Encounters" at General Public during the CTM.08 festival.   The project is based on the idea to benefit from contingency and the unforeseen to envision fresh aesthetic encounters in the realm of arts. Intending the unpredictable here works as a paradoxical method to influence the dynamics of the creative situations. The partial loss of artistic control in favour of coincidence and open systems is a trial, in the territory between the opposing poles of order and disorder, to find other ways and instruments of cultural, personal and artistic border crossings.   The project is a cooperation between Unsound, CTM and DISK e.V. with the friendly support of the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation, the Polish Cultural Institute Berlin, the Goethe Institute Krakow and satis&fy AG Germany.   For information on the first part of the project during Unsound festival, please visit: > www.unsound.pl   Detailed information on the Berlin part of the project will soon be available on our festival pages.	> January 24, 2008
