DISK Session 12: BELGRADEYARD SOUNDSYSTEM
// Date: Mon August 28, 2006 // Time: 8 pm   Belgradeyard Soundsystem are Goran Simonoski and Relja Bobic from Belgrade. The name refers to their 2-hour weekly radio show, which has been broadcasted on radio B 92. During the last years Belgradeyard Soundsystem have spread their activities from radio to irregular club gigs, monthly soundcape events and the initiation of the 'dis-patch'-festival for electronic music. To promote and present contemporary, non-commercial music of all styles is the basic idea behind all the activities of Belgradeyard Soundsystem. They appear on several albums and in 2004 they released their first 12" called Munchies on Cosmic.Sounds based in London. As a live band Goran and Relja team up with the bass player Ivan Antic. Performing live Belgradeyard Soundsystem reveal the wide scope of their musical musical interest, combining electronic improvisation and pe-processed material, influenced by acoustic and spiritiual music as well as free jazz.   > www.belgradeyard.com > www.dis-patch.com	> August 28, 2006
