DISK Session 10: BYUNGJUN KWON & HEE-SEUNG CHOI
Audio-visual performance by Byungjun Kwon & Hee-Seung Choi   // Date: Sat 1st July 2006 // Time: 8 pm // Location: P////AKT // Address: Zeeburgerpad 53, 1019 AB Amsterdam   DISK Session 10 takes place in the framework of "Life Without Weekend" – a 4-week project residency of DISK/CTM members Remco Schuurbiers, Jan Rohlf and Oliver Bauerhenn at the P////AKT project space in Amsterdam.   Byungjun Kwon (born in 1971, Seoul Korea) is a Korean electronic musician now based in The Hague. He is an important figure in South Korea’s underground music scene since the early 90s. While his interests range from choreography, sound typography and sound design for public spaces, Byungjun composes for theatre and dance as well as for traditional Korean instruments. Byungjun Kwon has performed at CTM.05 together with Korean singer and performer Ge-Suk Yeo.   Visual artist Hee-Seung Choi lives in The Hague. For the performance with Byungjun Kwon she will work with an overhead-projector to generate, animate and project images that relate to the music played by Byungjun.   > www.byungjun.pe.kr	> July 01, 2006
