24-year-old Jon-Eirik Boska is the latest star to emerge from the new wave of electronic artists coming out of the arctic town of Tromsø, Northern Norway. Boska is a drummer by trade but a dj and producer in the dance music underground at heart. In Boska's sound of 2011, percussion and found sounds still fight for space in the mix, adding a personal signature to an uplifting combination of dubstep, UK funky, classic techno and modern house.
 
He has just been approved for the Red Bull Academy event taking place in Madrid in October, a debut London show is in the planning, and his first own release will be available soon through Love OD Communications.
