Curtis Chip comes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (blue state) and owns and operates Zod Records. His sound is a mash-up of electro, jungle, gabber,punk, and techno robot beats retrofitted over infectious melodies and put through a polyrhythmic blender. The end product is weird and wonderful Dance music. With live electronics and free form manipulation of sound, Curtis Chip's live show is live indeed. His records are released primarily on Zod, but he has also worked with other fine labels like Ad Noiseam,Schematic, Addict, and Noisebrothel.
