Cobula are absurd, demanding, energetic, louche, producing, according to their own description, “high fidelity cyber breakbeats to African balafon-like rhythms; Hawaiian guitar playing to dolphin scratches, from Chris Isaac to ultranoisy punk- rock.”
 
Cobula are a duo, DJ Co and MC Bula, aka Deuce. DJ CO is coagulate, coarse, cobalt, cocky, cogent, colossal, comedic, compact and a composer. He has recorded three full-lengths for mik.musik: !COMOC! (2004); VOCVOCVOC (2006) and King's Meal (2007), as well as mp3s Corason and Commanding Officer (feat. GunsStars). Live, Co usually plays laptop, keyboard and sings.
 
MC Bula/Deuce is Piotrek Połoz (b.1981). His debut on Mik.Musik titled Not in the Kitchen, was a danceable mixture of breaks, beats, noisy melodies and a juicy selection of samples and vocals. His second CD, We Can Make it Better and Faster than DEUCE! came out in February 2004. Apart from his electronic solo-project DEUCE, Połoz also plays bassguitar as a member of indie-noise rock band Psychocukier.
