Born in 1981 Cotumo grew up in a small German state close to the French border called Saarland. At the age of 18 Cotumo started exploring more of Germany until he finally settled in Berlin in 2003.
 
After being kicked into deejaying by a friend, Cotumo quickly started to spread his sound all over the city. Nowadays he has residencies at Pentagonik, Pulsar Records and Hoervergnuegen e.V. parties, played in more than 50 Berlin based clubs and also spins records in London, Wales, Turin, Moscow, Zuerich, Graz...
 
Cotumo also organises a party series with his cousin µ~, called "Club der Dilettanten" and he started a live project with The Ascent, called Aka Aka. You can expect their debut in early 2009!
 
At CTM.09, Cotumo will DJ back-to-back with Chris Box.
