Attila Csihar aka Void is an extreme metal master vocalist
. Performing since 1986 when he co-founded cult-metal band Tormentor
, he is best known for his contribution to Mayhem
's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

Csihar’s (b. 1971) first band Tormentor reached cult status in the dark metal world, and recorded the very influential: Anno Domini
album in 1989. The band split up in 1991 but became active again in 1999, releasing Recipe Ferrum! 777
in 2001. 1993 Attila was invited to perform vocals on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
after Mayhem's then-vocalist Dead committed suicide. He has been Mayhem's only non-Scandinavian member in the band’s twenty-year history.
After Mayhem, Csihar continued to work in various experimental projects, such as Plasma Pool where he combined influences from Black Metal, industrial and even new wave. The Beast Of (A 15 Year Retrospect From the Mystic Hungarian Vocalists Archives)
was released by Southern Lord in 2003 and included many highlights and unreleased tracks from Csihar’s many collaborations.
In 2004, he recorded vocals for the song "Decay2 (Nihil’s Maw)" by American Doom/Drone Metal band Sunn O))). Since then, Csihar has become closely associated with the band and has come to be considered a shadow member, he performed live with them on their European tour and is involved in the band's side projects Gravetemple (with Stephen O’Malley and Australian noise/improv artist Oren Ambarchi
) and Burial Chamber Trio (with Greg Anderson

, a co-production with Sunn O))’s Stephen O’Malley, was released on Editions Mego in 2008.
"Void ov Voices" is Csihars new solo project based only on his processed voice. The project has been performed live for the first time in late 2008 in Moscow.
