THE INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY URBAN ENCOUNTERS or short: CUE, is about bringing together people that employ themselves to work by artistic means on a thematically defined subject, devoted to a shared style or to a similar aesthetic approach. The overall theme is urban space and the social relatiions derving from it. The common bound inside the CUE-structure is the interest in club-phenomena as a spot-focus of urban culture.
 
The idea of the institute is to built a wide network and to extend the given resources (inspiration, knowledge, work-space etc.). CUE organises club-events, workshops and exhibitions. It produces publications and runs an internet platform.
 
CUE currently exists only as a virtual institute and works on so called "test projects" to experience and demonstrate the possibilities and implications of such networks and collaborations.
