For hosting partner UH Fest, the definition of electronic dance music is techno. And the definition of the techno dj is, in many senses, compatriot artist, Dork. She was admittedly inspired by the atmosphere of Berlin's Tresor club back in the mid-90's, remaining loyal to the pure functionality and irresistible drive of techno ever since. Her sets are not a series of bombastic bangers, but rather ever-evolving space with minute details to look for.
