Jürgen Eckloff is co-manager of the 90% Wasser label. His laconic, absurd audio plays are finely tuned collages, comprised mainly of voices recorded from TV or radio. He splices material from characters that have never met with elliptic omissions, "swallowed" words and phrases, and then changes the word order or, just lets his "speakers" rabble off some perfect nonsense. Be it as an outraged melancholic or spiteful fool, Eckloff dissects the rites of self-exposure, vampirism, the pressure to consume and the media stereotypes. He is also a frequent member of the Column One collective.
