Rene Gabri was born in Teheran and grew up in Armenia. After an interdisciplinary studies program in humanities and social thought, Gabri’s interests have focused on memory, history, urban spaces, and popular forms of cultural production. He is also interested in exploring ideas of a middle ground or an in-between space. He is an artist and web designer in New York, and a member of 16beaver and e-xplo.
