Interplay is a collective of three designers and architects:
 
Mathias Klöpfel, born 1977 in Berlin, Dipl-Ing. Architecture, studied at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, project reidencies in Vienna and London, various projects and isntallations for public space: amongst others F*fA (Soccer for All) 2002,Weimar; Interplay Hamburger Architektursommer 2003, FilmWinter Stuttgart 2004, club transmediale Berlin 2004. 2002-2004: Galerie pdf in Weimar.
 
Jens Wille, born 1971 in Celle. Media/Architect. Works in Weimar, Glasgow, New York and Hamburg. Since 2001 he is assistent at the Interface Design faculty of the Bauhaus-University in Weimar. Since 2002 he works on projects for public space together with Mathias Klöpfel and with interplay, founded transformat in 2003 together with Peter Mende and since 2004 works on various mobile-media projects.
 
Peter Mende, born 1971 in Dresden. Since his studies of media design at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar (1996-2001) Peter Mende works on concepts and the technical realisation of interactive (video-)installations and applications. He worked 3 years as an assistant for the australian media artist Jill Scott and collabortaed on installations with numerous artists. His work is focussed on the whole spectrum of interface design in visual environments. Besides he is a member of the VJ-team optische-stimulanzen.
