Ku Bo is the exciting new project by Vienna based bass-meister Stereotyp. Known for his passion for Brazlian music and Afro beats as well as European club and bass culture, Ku Bo mixes the best of both worlds. Dark and sexy, with gutter drenching basslines, Ku Bo is the club oriented, voodooesque side of Stereotyp. Ku Bo is fronted by singers Joyce Muniz (Brasil), Sara (Ethiopia), Anbuley (Ghana) and Daniecell (Mexico) - a cosmopolitan vocalist crew that add local flavours to the sound of Ku Bo.
With three critically acclaimed single releases on Berlin's piping hot Man Recordings label, remixes for Adam Sky (Exploited Rec), Daniel Haaksman (Man Recordings), Schlachthofbronx (Man Recordings) and El Guincho (Mad Decent), and licenses of the Ku Bo tracks 'Lefe' for the recent 'I Love Techno' compilation by Crookers, as well as 'Tsu Bo' for the Fabric Live 49 Mix by Buraka Som Sistema, Ku Bo has turned heads all over the globe.
Ku Bo debuted live in summer 2009 with two live slots at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival in Signapur and France, further shows are currently booked for 2010.
