Deejaying in the south of France for more than 15 years, l’Amateur is based in Marseille. His eclectic style and efficient technique allow him to mix sweet Deep House, fat Bass Music, rough Hip Hop, vintage Beats & weird Pop. L’Amateur has proudly played alongside Andrew Weatherall, Primal Scream, Ivan Smagghe, Nicolas Jaar, Jamie Lidell, Prins Thomas, Isolée, Sascha Funke…  A member of the Midi Festival crew, he programs their electronic music events, Midi Nights. He also hosts the weekly radio show, Bienvenue au Club, on Radio Grenouille.
