Journalist, Zürich and Berlin.
 
Born 1970 in Solothurn, studied jazz guitar for a while, then both German and English Studies in Zurich, with sojourns in Berlin. Has written on cultural issues as a freelance journalist for Swiss and German dailies and specialist journals since 1995. Was editor of the Tages-Anzeiger in Zurich as of 2001, and responsible there for Pop as of 2005. Was a juror at the Berlin Theatertreffen (Theatrical Encounters) 2003-2006 and the Autoren-Werkstatttage (Authors’ Workshop Festival) at Vienna’s Burgtheater. HE has been an editor for Swiss TV since 2008, writes on pop culture and theatre, and commutes between Zurich und Berlin.
