Organ Mood is the audio-visual duo Cristo (audio) and Mjak (visuals) from Montréal, Canada, who operates in the realm of minimal neo-psychedelics. While Mjak improvises colorful geometric abstracts on an overhead projector, Cristo envelops the audience with pulsating analogue synth rhythms, intervowen by slowly altering threats of delicate melodies played on electronic organ, that evoke reminiscences to classics like Kraftwerk, Vangelis, or Spektrum even Bo Hanson's Prog master pieces. Yet the tracks also draw from recent dance music and spiral deep into the night clubbing universe of organized beats and loose minds.
