Stefan Possert was born 1975 in Innsbruck, Austria. Since 1994 he is working forthe entertainment and technology industry as an information architect andconceptual designer. With creative roots in the Viennese electronic music scene,(founding member of farmersmanual - an experimental electronic music collectivewith various CD, DVD and vinyl releases on labels like Mego/Austria and Touch/UK)he was involved in the development of experimental technologies for generativemusic, graphics and animation.
Besides this non-commercial creative work, he was working in Vienna, Hamburg,Berlin, San Francisco and Brussels for agencies such as Razorfish, MetaDesign andFork Unstable Media. From 2001 to 2004 Stefan set up and directed the DigitalMedia Department at Universal Music in Berlin and was significantly involved inestablishing nonphysical distribution channels for Universal Music. Today Stefan runs the digital record store zero" with his partners and is based inBerlin.
