Safety Scissors alias Matthew Patterson Curry appearing from the late '90s San Francisco's electronic music scene recorded for the labels Force Tracks, Context, Plug Research, Mille Plateaux and Beta Bodega. His more upbeat and eclectic minimalist dub sound and his highly sarcastic and histrionic attitude towards artitstry let him become one of the central characters in US electronica and helped to blur the aura of solemnity that surrounds electronics. One might expect intelligent madness and an unrepeatable show.
