Paul Salva left San Francisco for Los Angeles and found his sound on the way down. A synth-heavy R&B techno hybrid full of vocal snippets and quick turnarounds, his debut LP "Complex Housing" appeared on the Friends of Friends label in 2011, followed at the end of the year by the "Yellobone" 12". When asked in an interview about his plans for 2012, Salva neatly sums up his musical approach: "Trying to write the most melodically potent and emotional music I've ever written, and at the same time write the ghetto-est most, minimal club-wave, filthy dumb dancefloor shit I've ever written."
