Kevin Martin, former member of "Techno Animal", "Ice" and "God" worked with people like Bill Laswell, John Zorn, Kevin Shields, Anti-Pop Consortium, Porter Ricks, Godflesh, Alec Empire and Company Flow’s El-P. Together with MC Ras B his current project "The Bug" is domiciled in Ragga and Dancehall. His very musical and unique approach to the booming noise coming from Jamaica's dance halls forms a highly interesting advencement of ragga into a fusion with house, hip-hop and electronica. His inimitable remixes include DJ Vadim, Palace Brothers and Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion while his expertise was sought to compile the definitive Macro Dub Infection, Jazz Satellites and Isolationism compilations for Virgin. He released on Kruder & Dorfmeisters Klein and on Kid 606's (and Cex´s) tigerbeat6, and of course on Aphex Twin´s Rephlex.
