Tonne is Paul Farrington, graduate of the Royal College of Art, graphic designer, sound designer and interactive media designer. He has collaborated with artists such as Scanner, Pole, Monolake and Spring Heel Jack. In all of his work Tonne seeks to closely bind visual image and music. His visuals do not simply illustrate the music; they become an integral part of it. Tonne has performed at the Splitski New Media Festival (Croatia), Sonar (Spain), FCMN (Canada), Expanded Cinema (Italy), Lovebytes (UK) and Steim (Holland). His music appears on the BiP_HOp Generation 5 compilation and a unique audio/ CD ROM enhanced release is also scheduled for release on BiP_HOp in the near future.
