Prof. Dr. Elena Ungeheuer, born in 1962, studied music theory, psychology and ethnology in Bonn. Her dissertation was about the history of electronic music. She teaches and publishes on many topics such as the relationship between music and new media, musical listening, music and language, music psychology, art and science, and music in the 20th century. Ungeheuer is professor for musical studies at the Technical University Berlin.
