Utarm is the metal-drone project of
Sindre Foss Skancke and
Sten Ove Toft. With wrathful distorted guitar, Skancke attempts to mirror to humanity’s unacknowledged dark side. Skancke defines his work as “true satanic desperation not bound by musical structures”. As well as several CDrs, Utarm have released two albums:
Penumbra Booming (2006) on Roggbif Records, and
Mutilation Epoch (2007) on Alchemic Sound Museum. Main-man Skancke has a side project called
Stabwound Empire.
