WU LYF is an abbreviation for World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation. Hailing from Manchester, they are currently riding a wave of media attention fueled by their apparent disregard for anything related to standard music industry values. Their sound is a whirlwind of reverb-drenched guitars, muffled drums and and exuberant, hoarse vocals – the revitalized essence of a long lost rock 'n' roll. With a string of viral videos, scattered mp3s and a debut release with limited edition of fourteen copies, their astute image management recalls the propaganda campaigns from the glory days of their hometown's own Factory Records.
