Inspired by the capacity of plants to adapt to their environment, Skoltz_Kolgen developed an audio-visual tapestry of computer-generated plants in permanent transition. Audio impulses were generated at random and linked to a virtual imaging program. Each impulse thus generates a virtual plant motif in constant evolution. For plants, it’s light, moisture and soil that determine behaviour and growth. For Hiiskaa, it’s the sound ecosystem and host context.
