This video work shows a traumatic situation: the heatwave that struck France in the summer 2003. The catastrophe can be sensed. People follow their daily business in an unreal way. They are slowed down, disappearing in an undeterminable way, sometimes staying at the threshold of the obscure fog made by drizzle appliances until the suspicion rises to an unpleasant reality that could turn out to be dreadful. Pereg is a media artist from Tel Aviv and currently a guest professor at HFG in Karlsruhe.
