A new breed of characters is on the move, and the species is evolving at a furious rate. After taking over the web, advertising, fine and urban art, it is now reclaiming the world of animation in Music Visuals and Motion Graphics. Watch an old school plasticine Hello Kitty kicking the shit out of a video machine (Saiman Chow, US), join the head-banging action of the mysterious Drum Machine (Tokyoplastic, UK) or find your way through complex labyrinth in Pigs with Wings (Lobo, BR). This screening showcases over an hour of contemporary character design that is BOLD enough to pull you in!
