In his lecture Electronic Music pioneer Perrey tells about the development and impact of the Moog Synthesizer and plays selections from some of his amazing musical creations. Perrey also demonstrates his techniques for creating tape loops and compositions, which made him such a huge influence on today's sampling practise. Although Pierre Schaeffer was horrified and tried to stop him, Perrey applied techniques originally developed in the context of Musique Concrète to create groundbreaking Electro Pop, which helped to popularize Electronic Music.
