Dense is a record shop for experimental music and, first and foremost, a meeting point and info exchange for anyone interested in music beyond the mainstream. Founded by Annibale Picicci and Ed Benndorf, nowadays run by Tim Tetzner, the shop and the diverse activities of its former and current managers as zine makers, promoters, authors or musicians, are an important magnet for Berlin’s experimental music scene. For CTM.07 Dense will once again set up a temporary branch in MAO: a communication interface and a place you can buy material by this year’s Festival artists, and more besides.
