Based on the same algorithms that Marius Watz developed for this year's festival CI, the piece "Illuminations 1.1" is conceived as a temporal generative composition for large-scale realtime projection. It explores ideas of composition and transformation, creating a slowly changing visual space. During this night it provides the atmospheric background between the concerts and sometimes during the music performances on the main stage.
