A neo-classical ballroom, built in 1865, and now conceived as a musical, artistic and social laboratory that combines international experimental arts with (sub)-cultures of the neighborhood, Kreuzberg, in which it is located. Its multidisciplinary, international program of festivals, concerts, sound installations, theater and performance aims to build bridges between socio-political agendas and the international avant-garde.
During CTM.08 the Ballhaus hosts the
xxxxx-workshop and
Generator.x 2.0 workshop as well as
Tuned City symposium.
