An installation comprising murals, posters and a series of works on paper on the themes of national security and current debates about terrorism and civil rights. Heinrich Böll’s novel, The Safety Net (1979) and the vendetta waged against the author in the 70s by the conservative German press serve as historical references. Wüst’s interventions in historical and contemporary imagery, newspaper articles and web-texts subtly interweave reality and fiction and the past and present.
