972-73, "PSI 847" is a prime example of Radigue’s pioneering work with synthesizer and tape, and will be performed from its original tape recording. Performing this work is French musician Lionel Marchetti, a longtime friend of Radigue’s and himself a respected musique concrète artist known for his improvisational work with microphones and loudspeakers.
This concert is part three of our
Homage to Eliane Radigue, which also includes the presentation of her piece
Naldjorlak and a
conversation between Eliane Radigue and Thibaut de Ruyter.
