On this evening the former Cimatics festival presents itself for the first time as TodaysArt Brussels. After 10 years of activity under the name Cimatics the organization recently changed name and connected with the TodaysArt Festival in The Hague. As prologue to their first joint edition to take place in September 22/23 in The Hague and September 29/30 in Brussels, the two festivals present local key musicians at the ICAS Suite.

TodaysArt – International Festival Beyond Art – is a festival concept that revolves around the presentation and development of adventurous contemporary visual and performing arts. An in- and outdoor festival that utilizes a great number of venues, TodaysArt uses and transforms the city's infrastructure and creates temporary spaces to produce events in inspiring settings, such as main squares, public buildings, museums, concert halls, clubs and theatres. Among these are the city's most well-known venues and cultural institutes, but also the often overlooked and undervalued public spaces, buildings and initiatives; places that become actively involved in shaping the character of the city.
