The longest-running festival from the field of "cutting-edge music and related arts" in Serbia and the region of SE Europe, after a decade of activity has sadly announced the demise of its main annual Belgrade event earlier this year. Under the motto "The end is always the beginning", the festival put together a mini-campaign and a special party event to communicate the new situation to its audience, collaborating artists, partners and colleagues. Dis-patch Productions continue to curate events, projects and special programs together with like-minded events from all over Europe and the world, as well as develop nomadic platforms for special artistic collaborations.
At the Berlin Music Week and as part of the ICAS SUITE, Dis-patch will present a party with music coming exclusively from the artists who had performed at the festival over the past years, including edits of unpublished live recordings from the past festivals and guest DJ sets. It will be accompanied by a massive slideshow spanning the entire decade-long scope of the festival, while the notions of "death" and life cycle of a festival will be addressed as part of the ICAS SUITE Discussion and presentations on Saturday 10.10 at Festsaal Kreuzberg.
