Screening program produced for CTM.04 – festival for electronic music and related visual arts - Berlin, February 2004. Curated by Oliver Baurhenn.
berlin remixed presents videoclips that deal with Berlin´s Alexanderplatz and its surrounding. Several Berlin based visual artists have been invited to create figurative clips that are based on material shot on this paradigmatic square. The Alexanderplatz is a symbol of past and present architectural and socio-political utopias, which find their resonance in the presented artistic works. Most of the participating artists are known as Vjs in Berlin´s club scene and have presented their work at past editions of the CTM-festival. The screening is framed by two works by artists closer to the fine arts field and that mark a specific chronology from the early nineties to 2004.
The screening program is available for public screenings and festivals. For details see > Terms and Conditions
