Screening program with non-figurative video works using electronic music. Curated by Antje Weitzel and Mirjam Wenzel for CTM.03 – festival for electronic music and related visual arts, Berlin, February 2003.
These conceptual videos won't show reality but construct rhythmic arrangements of colour fields, lines and graphic elements, that seem to strive into the third dimension. The visual arsenal of these video works not only emphasizes the non-figurative nature of electronic music, but also refers to historical art genres like Op Art and Abstract Film as well as to the graphic design of digital computer programs.
