Informed by his youthful affinity for turntablism, the glistering hyper-real cyber R&B of Hudson Mohawke brims with sonic detail. Hailing from Glasgow, Ross Birchard initially became known through the LuckyMe collective before signing to Warp Records in 2009. His is debut LP "Butter" was followed by the "Satin Panthers" EP in 2011. Sometimes anthemic, sometimes broken, always shimmering with synthetic opulence and neon pop maximalism, his music is like getting a sugar rush from artificial sweetener. Hudson Mohawke isn't interested in making anything dark – he'd rather blind you with the light.
