Behind Ancient Methods are the producers Trias and Baeks. Despite being active as DJs since the earliest days of the Berlin techno scene, including a long stint as residents at Tresor, it wasn't until relatively late that they began releasing their own material. They founded their own eponymous label in 2007, crafting dark, raw techno with industrial connotations and 90s energy that evokes the cavernous warehouses and disused factories that initially fostered the sound.
