Marc Marcovic is the songwriter alias of Rechenzentrum's Marc Weiser. With an acoustic guitar as his only instrument Marcovic impersonates a post-modern, trans-cultural schizophrenic troubadour who collects stories, melodies and fragments of love and fear. His "instant fake traditionals" evolve from live improvisation and are funny and serious the same time. With no recognizable words, Marcovic sings nonsense that mimics the sound of language, his romantic and fragile songs are pure musicality and create meaning from moods, melodies and the misuse of stereotypes.
