Martin Conrads lives in Berlin where he works on criticism, radio, exhibitions, academic teaching, artistic contributions and conceptual publications. He has been writing for numerous magazines and journals (Cabinet, de:Bug, mute, Springerin, die tageszeitung etc.) and has produced artistic works with a bias on audio concepts, radio plays and media contexts. He was editor for the art magazine "Texte zur Kunst", a member of the curatorial team of the "6th Werkleitz Biennial" in Halle (Saale) and producer/editor for the German-Polish artist radio "Radio Copernicus". In 2006/07 he was co-publisher/co-editor of the German-Hungarian publication project "Die Planung / A Terv". Currently he is teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts.
