Joergen Traen and John Hegre founded the Golden Serenades project in 1999. The former just released his solo-debut under the alias Sir Duperman whilst as a producer has been responsible in recent years for the sound of Scandinavia’s best bands: Kings of Convenience, Royksopp, Jaga Jazzist and, of course, Jazzkammer, John Hegre’s and Lasse Marhaug’s ingenious Noise-Wonder, all swear by his faculties.
