Daniel Perlin is an artist based in New York. He works across media creating video and sound pieces and installations. He has worked with Koolhaas, Kwinter, Fabricius on Mutations, with Vito Acconci on Viraphon and as a sound designer for feature films including Errol Morris' Fog Of War and Phil Morrison's Junebug. Currently, his focus is on installation and live video performance, and has performed both solo and with Dj/Rupture and Nettle. His art and sound work has been shown at the Chelsea art Museum, Guggenheim NY, The Whitney Museum, NY, Mass MOCA, Contemporary Arts Museum of Tampa, Temporary Contemporary Gallery, London, TN Probe, Tokyo and other galleries and festivals. He holds undergraduate and Masters degrees from Brown University and a Masters from NYU Interactive Telecommunications program. In 2006 he completed work as studio artist at the Whitney Independent Study program.
