California’s Jonathan Snipes sings about dirty sex with dirty people while Jim Merson smears the crowd with sweat in a hyper-sexual performance with a Happy hardcore/ booty bass soundtrack. Snipes started Captain Ahab in 1997 producing songs about robot sex, joined later by Merson as sleaze accessory. The first Ahab recording was a 2002 12” on Irritant, Bot Pirate.They’ve since released ten recordings on Death Bomb Arc and founded their own label Ravesploitative.
