Downpressor (Jahtari 2008). In the 80s Murka recorded a series of hit tunes, including anthems such as

Ride Pon the Riddim which charted internationally. Rootah and Disrupt kicked off Jahtari Riddim Force cuts with
Lost In Space / The Stars My Destination - NET-7" (JTR NET 02) in early 2005, and followed up with
Farmer In The Sky / Depth Charge (JTR NET 15) in 2007 which was later released as a 7” by Bastard Jazz Recordings, Brooklyn’s eclectic breakbeat label. One other release attributed to Jahtari Riddim Force is JTR NET 13,

Ras Amerlock, 2007.
Only recently back in the game after a long break, 2007 saw the release of Mikey Murka’s debut solo album
In The Name Of Love on Reality Shock Records. Back in the day Murka performed alongside the big names of reggae: Sugar Minott, Mikey General, Tippa Irie, Daddy Freddy & many more. Murka started his career back in 1983 with the
legendary Unity Sound System in London. Countless Mikey Murka tracks appeared on various compilation albums, the most famous of which include Unity Sound's
Watch How The People Dancing LP and John Dread's
Jamaica Affair Vol 3, where Mikey appears alongside Big Youth & King Kong. This was re-released on London’s Honest Jon’s in 2002. Since his return Mikey has been collaborating with various labels and producers including Unitone Soundimentional, One Harmony Records, Messenjah Music, Tigerman Records, Section Urbaine Prod, Crucial Sounds, Kougar Records
