Magnusson is a member of ixi-software, a network of experimentalists in the field of computer music and computer music software. Ixi concentrates on the creation of interactive and generative music as well as on the development of software for music production and of specialised VST plug-ins. Recently ixi has started ist own label to publish musical works, produced with ixi-software tools.
 
He collaborates with Jacob Kirkegaard. Their joint performance presented at CTM.05 – “Vulkan” – is a special sound-performance of earthly volcanic vibrations. Vulkan searches to re-locate sonic aspects of the geothermal energy in the earth.
