Berlin based artist Schuurbiers makes abstract compositions, installations and performances that explore the border between audio and video. In projects he works with electronic musicians to produce composed or improvised audiovisual performances.
 
Schuurbiers is also a prolific photographer who exhibits regularly in Germany and internationally, one quarter of the club transmediale core team, and co-organizer of the event series "The Art of Pingpongcountry” He has recently worked with the Dutch composer Huib Emmer on a project titled Datenreport, and often collaborates with the Dutch sound artist Radboud Mens, and the director Ivan Stanev producing films and theater plays.
