Telematique has operated since 1998 and has been a frequent collaborator of CTM since the beginning. With his video installations and live performances, Sven Gareis has been a part of the international art and club landscape since 1998. The work of telematique has created a name for itself in its experimental approach. His aim has been to generate pictural landscapes which closely relate to the architecture and live music contexts in which they are presented. To this end, his artistic practice is continually developed. The result is a multitude of dense and surprising pictural worlds, that evolve in a precise synergy with the given music.
 
Cooperations:
Gareis, the light designer Clemens Lüft and the video artist u-matic form the trio "u-matic & telematique & LFT". Together they work on kinetic and interactive light installations.
 
Together with u-matic he forms the duo "u-matic & telematique" doing Vj-performances, live video shows and exhibitions.
 
He also works closely together with the artists from visomat inc. and the musican errorsmith on the interactive installation series "halbzeug".
