Kaden is a DJ and producer known for his intensely rhythmic and responsive sets. A DJ for more than a dozen years, Kaden has a long-standing residency at Muna Club in Jena, Thüringen. He is jointly responsible for Klanglauf events at Kassablanca in Jena and is in demand internationally, performing at London’s Fabric, the Rex club Paris and Sonar in Barcelona. As a producer, he’s released on the Wighnomy Brother’s Jena-based label Fruede am Tanzen, and is part of Berlin’s Vakant stable.
 
Kaden was turned on to electronic music by the first house and techno DJs he saw at Bioxultra in Gera, close to his hometown of Jena in southeast Germany. He bought his first turntables at the age of fourteen and has DJed ever since. After meeting producer Marek Hemman in 2002, Kaden embarked on his production career, learning the ropes with Hemman before the pair released a collaborative effort in 2003, the Guten Tag EP, on local imprint Freude am Tanzen. The pair followed up with the 2 Zu 1 EP and remixes, and Kaden has gone on to release solo material on Fruede am Tanzen as well as other labels.
 
Kaden has had a close working relationship with Onur Özer since meeting him in 2005, they were playing all gigs together at one point, and have both released music on Fruede am Tanzen and Vakant. Kaden’s Circle Pit EP was released on Vakant in mid 2005, and followed closely by Özer’s Envy EP. With Özer, Kaden helped build the dark, deep sound Berlin-based Vakant is known for. Kaden has remixed, among others, Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Dapayk, Anja Schneider, Daniel Stefanik and Trentemöller.
 
Kaden has been a resident at Muna club in Jena for seven years, where he DJs and helps out with the Freshblood project, organising parties with guest appearances from new talent. Kaden also works as a DJ and organiser for the Klanglauf events at Kassablanca in Jena.
